Overall, disappointed. It was good enough, but you knew that about 70% of it was going to be fairly irrelevant. Tangental and linked, yes, but just padding. And you were as aware of that as you were the dialogue, which WAS mostly a nice homage, but wasn't quite clever enough to work today. Still, good enough as a lead-in to a show you might like more. Then we get to the finale. Hey! Why not disrespect the viewers and introduce a brand-new character out of nowhere because we have NO idea how to write an ending? We'll even make her one of those condescending black woman characters we all love so much! I'll check in for a Series 2, but won't stick around long if it's more of the same. Not after being insulted like that in Elisode 6.

After watching Anne Rice UA-cam channel before she passed away .. all she talked about was getting ready to make a series, she was even pouring over her books and script writing . But what I don’t understand is.. she REALLY wanted and was hoping they were going to do the. I’ll of Lestat . That was her hope and desire . So why .. why did they just redo what we have already had once . Anne Rice worked on and wrote the screen adaptation of IWAV the movie back in 94 that is why they movie was soo good , on top of the actors were brilliant and it was closer to the actual book. I would have preferred the book of Lestat .

From the clips Ive seen, Chuck was the main reason for his and Howard's downfall. If he hadnt conspired to cut Jimmy off the Sanpiper case, Jimmy wouldn't have started going after Howard and Howard wouldn't have been in the apartment when Lalo showed up.
